V&S Railway, LLC - Hutchinson Division
The Hutchinson Line consists of about 5 miles of switching track located in Hutchinson, Kansas. The railway interchanges with the BNSF Railway and the Union Pacific Railroad. The freight traffic consists of scrap metal, salt, storage cars and repaired cars.
The Hutchinson Line was originally constructed in 1915 by the Arkansas Valley Interurban Railway Company. V&S Railway subsequently purchased the line from the Hutchinson & Northern Railway Company in 2006.
